FUNCTION          : Define the close-gadget. The character
                    string in the register is used as definition for the
                    command sequence to be invoked when the close-gadget
                    is activated.

NOTE 1            : The register content is copied, so the exit-sequence
                    remains valid even if the register is overwritten at a
                    later stage.
