Invalid register

   The command is requested for a register that is not supported.

   Causes are:
   - Illegal register name
   - A numeric operation request on the search string register
   - A numeric operation request on a function key register

   In many cases, this error is indirectly caused by:
   - The list-terminating ESC is omitted
