At any time, TV is either reading a command or executing one. Commands
can be either: immediate commands           
               single commands              
               command sequences            
               macros                       
               command-files                

Two further categories exist. They do not operate on the buffer:
               command-line editing commands
               interrupt commands           

If an error occurs during the processing of a command, an error-message is
displayed in the status display. In non-interactive mode, these messages go
to the CLI of the caller.

Some severe errors are accompanied by an audio-signal, to draw attention to
something important that might otherwise be missed.

NOTE: If you have more than one TV-session active, sounds will only be
      enabled for the first one you started (Amiga only).
