RESULTING ARGUMENT: Number of columns available in the text area.

FUNCTION          : Determine the number of columns currently set as the
                    width of the text area.

ARGUMENT          : 35

NOTE              : This returns the default value (80) if TV is not in
                    Interactive mode. This is also the case during
                    execution of TVini.
